Das zeigt sich auch in der kulinarischen Landschaft. Von sieben Guide Michelin-Stern ausgezeichneten Restaurants in Sachsen stehen drei in Dresden Elbland. Auch zwei weitere Gourmet-Restaurants konnten sich bereits mit einem Michelin-Stern schmücken oder sind auf dem besten Weg dorthin.

Von Anfang an gleich geblieben ist der besondere Charme des Restaurants, das eher mit Understatement und Behaglichkeit als mit durchgestylter Noblesse punktet. Auf den Tellern dagegen hat sich das Team von den anfangs mitunter noch etwas gröber ausgestalteten Gerichten zu einem feinsinnig akkuraten und dennoch eher lässig als angestrengt abgezirkelt anmutenden Stil weiterentwickelt, der ebenso viel Spaß wie niveauvollen Genuss verspricht.

Das kleine, von Nicole Blonkowski und ihrem Bruder Marcus Blonkowski engagiert geführte Genuss-Atelier nahe der Elbe ist aus der Gourmetszene der sächsischen Landeshauptstadt längst nicht mehr wegzudenken. Über mittlerweile fast zehn Jahre ist das adrette Kellerrestaurant mit seinen wechselnden Exponaten regionaler Künstler und den urigen Steingewölben souveräner und etablierter geworden, hat aber immer noch den charmant ungezwungenen Charakter einer sehr „casual“ gehaltenen Spielart von Fine Dining.
