The Schlemmer Atlas is a restaurant guide of the Busche Verlagsgesellschaft from Dortmund.
The restaurants are rated with a cooking spoon symbol, whereby one cooking spoon stands for "ambitious cuisine", while the maximum rating is five cooking spoons. The criteria are restaurants with excellent cuisine, first-class basic products, high creativity and quality with the best possible, above all imaginative preparation of the dishes, selected great wines and excellent service in an appropriate atmosphere.
The development trend (half evaluation level) is indicated by an upright pointing arrow behind the cooking spoon symbols.
