WE ARE MARCUS & NICOLE BLONKOWSKI
Marcus and Nicole, that’s us – siblings who have both been at home in the hospitality industry for quite some time. After various stints in gastronomy in Germany and Austria, it eventually became clear: we wanted to join forces. In 2014, we did just that and went into business for ourselves with our own restaurant in Dresden.

The result is the Genuss-Atelier restaurant in our rustic sandstone vaulted cellar at Bautzner Straße 149 in Dresden: a place to relax, chat, or conduct business – alone, as a pair, or as a group.

Our surprise menu is served by the table. A combination of the surprise menu and à la carte orders for the same table is not possible. Individual preferences, allergies, or the exclusion of meat or fish can of course be accommodated.

Midnight Tip: A highlight of the evening will be the Dresden city fireworks, which you can admire directly opposite from the Waldschlößchen Bridge with the best view over the Elbe Valley.
Taxi Advisory: Please note: Experience shows that in Dresden there are very few or no taxis available between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am.

Under sandstone arches

Our sandstone vaults are intimate, welcoming, and truly unique. Seated at cozy tables for two, you enjoy an uninterrupted view of the vaulted dining room. At its center stands a historic solid sandstone column.

Alongside the vault, further rooms belong to Genuss-Atelier. Whether for an intimate dinner for two, a gathering with friends, or a business dinner – each room has its own character and flexible seating arrangements.

For telephone reconfirmation of your reservation.

No-show policy: On high-demand dates, we contact you via your mobile number to confirm your reservation by telephone. Should we be unable to reach you and receive no callback by 4:00 pm on the reservation day, the table may be released to waiting guests. Free cancellation for Saturday lunch is possible until 11:00 pm on the preceding day (Friday). Should you fail to arrive or arrive with fewer guests without prior notice, a no-show fee of €60.00 per person will be charged. This policy allows us to plan with the highest quality and allocate our resources responsibly.

Personal confirmation: We review each reservation request individually and usually respond within 24 hours (Tuesday to Saturday). On our closing days (Sunday & Monday), our office remains closed – from Tuesday we are fully back at your service. For urgent inquiries, please call us at 0351 250 28 337.
