About this product

Origin / Location: Niederwartha Burgberg / Radebeuler Albertsberg

Wine characteristics:

Stefan Bönsch's Pinot Noir shines a wonderful ruby red in the glass. Due to the extremely low yields (approx. 20hl/ha), this Pinot Noir conjures up a dense concentration of elderberry, dark forest fruits and cherries in the glass. 12 months of maturation in a wooden barrel made of Saxon oak make it a complex wine with a soft tannin structure. There are only 100 vintage bottles of this special edition 0.75L - which were bottled unfiltered. A real insider tip.

Location and characteristics:

Burgberg Niederwartha: The historic vineyard site has been brought back to life. A little further away, the rocky subsoil with gneiss and syenite surprises. Since 2015, Stefan Bönsch has been cultivating around 1 hectare here with a view of the Tännichtgrund.

Radebeul Albertsberg: It all started here on the Albertsberg in 2006 with a small vineyard terrace of just under 1000 square meters. Stefan Bönsch now cultivates around 0.2 hectares of steep slope in Radebeul. The location is part of the famous "Golden Wagon". Very high-quality wines with character mature here. The weathered syenite soil gives them a distinctive minerality.
