Collection: sparkling wine manufacturer Perlgut

The Perlgut sparkling wine factory is located on the outskirts of the 1000-year-old town of Meissen, which is world-famous for its porcelain. The property is surrounded by its own vineyards in the sun-drenched Spaargebirge at the foot of the Kapitelberg. The factory is the only wine-growing company in Saxony that is exclusively dedicated to the production of high-quality Saxon single-vineyard and vintage sparkling wines.

Hendrik Weber, a trained winemaker and oenologist, places particular emphasis on managing his vineyards himself. This is the only way to guarantee the best harvest for high-quality sparkling wines. We work in a way that is close to nature, environmentally friendly and in accordance with strict quality standards.

The gentle working method is not only used in the vineyard, but also in the cellar. Only whole grapes are pressed under low pressure and with a reduced must yield. Depending on the style, the base wines are matured in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels.

The refinement to create a fine sparkling wine takes place exclusively using traditional bottle fermentation. Depending on the type, our single-vineyard and vintage sparkling wines are allowed to mature on the yeast for up to several years. This is how we achieve perfect enjoyment.
