The Schloss Proschwitz winery, also known as the Prinz zur Lippe winery, is located in Saxony and is one of the most famous and renowned wineries in the region. They are known for their high-quality wines and their traditional wine production.

These vineyards are historic. Wine has been cultivated here for more than 850 years. Above the Elbe - with a view of the porcelain town of Meissen, the Albrechtsburg and the Meissen Cathedral - wines mature that enjoyed international renown long before the Second World War and were even served at the World Exhibition in Paris. This has almost been forgotten over the decades and the division of Germany after 1945.

Since 1990, when the family winery Schloss Proschwitz was re-established, they have been working hard to produce regionally, nationally and internationally recognized wines with the best quality in the vineyard and cellar. They want to inspire wine lovers all over the world with the fruity, elegant, complex and mineral wines from the special Proschwitz terroir.
