Marbach Winery - Wine from the vassal estate in Jerischke.

A regional wine from Brandenburg with tradition and high quality. Cultivation is carried out with natural fertilizer and without herbicides. The wines are naturally produced, balanced, and harmonious. The vineyard is situated on the sunny southern slope of the Jerischke terminal moraine.

THE WINERY
Wine from Brandenburg ― from the Muskau Arch
Jerischke is located amidst vast pine forests and oak-lined avenues. It is a district of the municipality of Neiße-Malxetal, in the Spree-Neiße district. A circular trail from the Muskau Arch Geopark information center leads to the vineyard. With its southern orientation, a gradient of up to 18%, and many hours of sunshine, the vineyard offers IDEAL CONDITIONS FOR A HIGH-QUALITY WINE. Thus, Riesling, Red Riesling, Johanniter, Cabernet Cortis, and Regent grow on 4 hectares of vines on the southern slope of the Jerischke terminal moraine.

For the winemaker, the weather is always very important, as his craft is carried out under the open sky. Through careful manual labor, every vintage can be optimized to achieve the most important goal: that our customers are satisfied with the quality of our wines. All wines are carefully hand-picked, resulting in very good produce. We like to leave the wines on the fine lees for a long time; hence the late bottling.
